No, Dubs works only at movie theaters participating in Dubs network. These theaters are designated Dubs-Ready.

Before you can start watching a movie using Dubs, your phone needs to ‘check-in’ at the theater to ensure it is Dubs-Ready. This is an automatic process which starts when you use the app for the first time inside the theater. If your smartphone cannot check-in, the soundtrack will not play.

Tap on the Theaters menu item and Dubs will show you a list of Dubs-Ready theaters around you. You can also tap on the “Show Map” button to see these theaters on a map.
